Born in Athens, Greece in 1988. Studied Chemistry at the Chemistry Dept. of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and received his degree in 2012. Had his M.Sc. at the field of “Environmental Chemistry and Technology” at the same department and commenced with his Ph.D. Thesis in the field of Environmental Analysis “Study on the transformation of anthropogenic atmospheric pollutants in atmosphere and biological fluids” obtaining his diploma in 2020. Conducted parallel research at the Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry of the Chemistry Dept. (NKUA) in the field of Air Quality and Monitoring and possible health implications during the period 2012 -2021 and experienced in the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 quality assurance standard application. He has participated in 6 funded research projects, published over 15 articles in peer reviewed journals and in conference proceedings. In 2021, he joined Institute of Environmental Research and Sustainable Development (IERSD) of the National Observatory of Athens as a post-doctoral researcher, studying levels, source apportionment and health impacts of volatile organic compounds and other pollutants in atmosphere of Greece and Eastern Mediterranean in general.
Research Interests: Meteorology, Climatology, Dynamic and synoptic meteorology, Atmospheric Pollution- PM measurements, Carbonaceous aerosols and particulate pollutants, Atmospheric aerosols, Ceilometer measurements and applications
