Orfeas, born in Patras, Greece, holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from the University of Crete (2020) and a Master of Science in Applied Meteorology and Environmental Physics from the University of Patras (2022). He has developed a strong foundation in mathematical modeling within atmospheric sciences, focusing on data-driven models, advanced statistical analyses, and predictive modeling through machine learning techniques. Since joining IERSD/NOA in 2024, he has been actively engaged in cutting-edge research in meteorology and atmospheric chemistry simulations, leveraging the Weather Research and Forecasting model and its chemistry extension (WRF-Chem) to address critical environmental challenges
