Born in Athens, Greece in 1995, Anastasia holds a Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science, from the University of the Aegean (2017) and a Master’s Degree in Geography and Applied Geoinformatics, from the University of the Aegean (2019). Her Bachelor Thesis was titled “Determination of Water Vulnerability Index, with the use of Geographical Information Systems (GIS): The case of Lesvos” and her Master thesis was titled “Investigation of the Aerosol Optical Depth with the use of Geoinformatics, with data from CALIOP”. Her focus is in the sectors of Geographical Information Systems and Spatial Statistical Analysis. She started at the Institute for Environmental Research & Sustainable Development (NOA) in September 2019 and will focus on upgrading of spatial analysis in air pollution parameters for cities.
