Born in Liverpool, England, in 1970. He studied pure & applied physics at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) and graduated in 1992. He received his Ph.D. in applied mathematics (theoretical fusion physics) in 1996 from the Mathematics Institute of Saint Andrews University, Scotland. He has 10 years postgraduate research experience in the fields of atmospheric physics, space physics, astrophysics, data mining and scientometrics in the UK, Spain & Greece. He is currently a member of the European Geosciences Union.

 

Research Interests:
Synergistic global aerosol models of aerosol physical & optical properties.

Design and development of a system to monitor the spatiotemporal evolution of gaseous and particulate air pollution with using neural networks.

Development of solar irradiance forecast models.
