The purpose of the conference was to promote exchange of knowledge among various scientific communities that are interested in contemporary problems in environmental science, engineering, and management.
Dr. Votsi participated in the special session: ARSINOE-Climate-resilient regions through systemic solutions and innovations, presenting the general concept of the environmental assessment that NOA is performing to result in Nature based solutions (NbS) for greening, cooling, and cleaning the Athens Metropolitan Area under the frame of ARSINOE project. More specifically, Dr. Votsi had the opportunity to share and communicate the basic characteristics of the different models, as well as the NbS approach applied in ARSINOE project for the case study of Athens.
